Overview
Cyclone Compost is a lightweight topdressing specifically designed to be applied with a mulch blower truck, and is always made fresh on an order by order basis to ensure the best performance. Cyclone Compost is 99% weed seed free, has a fluffy soft fibrous texture that flows smoothly; to avoid bridging and clogging, and makes fast efficient work of topdressing. Blowing Cyclone Compost is great for large commercial applications and sports turf, but it really excels as a solution for hard to reach areas that cannot be serviced by traditional topdressing machines (think erosion control on steep embankments or the little patches of lawn in a residential community interrupted by sidewalks, driveways and flower beds). Cyclone Compost can also be used as a seed tackifier on bare ground or even used as light organic mulch in garden beds. Late season applications will extend the time turf will stay green by providing rootzone insulation and slow release nutrients.

Ingredients
Cyclone Compost is made from post-harvest mushroom compost, containing the standard recipe ingredients that include a majority of hay and straw with smaller proportions of horse manure, poultry litter, corncobs, cottonseed hulls, cocoa bean hulls, lime, gypsum, and is later covered in sphagnum peat moss. Cyclone Compost is steam pasteurized, screened and is 99% weed seed free.
Analytical
Cyclone Compost is processed from Fresh Mushroom Compost (FMC) and is brown in color with flecks of grey mycelium, has a soft fibrous texture, is light and fluffy and is screened fresh for each order. Mushroom farming is a continual, year-round process with growing beds being filled with new compost as others are emptied on a daily basis. After harvesting the mushrooms the FMC is steam pasteurized while still inside the mushroom house and is therefore 99% weed seed free when it is removed. Cyclone Compost has a high organic matter content, a near neutral pH, weighs 1000 to 1500 lbs/cubic yard, and is a rich source of slow release nutrients. Analytical data sheets provided upon request.
